TreeTops at Flat Mountain

Treetops is a unique home situated on one acre and down the street from the Skyline Lodge and Pinky Falls on Flat Mountain Rd, less than 10 min away from downtown Highlands.  The home has recently been updated with new furnishing, linens and AC.
This cleverly designed house is light-filled, welcoming and rumored to have been built by a Norwegian shipwright. The home has a unique character and patina that is hard to find, including windows and stained glass from the Highlands Country Club. 

You will be surrounded by knotty pine walls, wood plank floors, wormy chestnut cabinets, stained glass, beautiful glass doors, and numerous windows with views of the trees and lawns, and mountain breezes to ruffle the curtains.

The Stone Hobbit fireplace can warm the entire house on a chilly mountain morning or create a cozy ambiance for an evening with a good book or an old movie. The yard has a stone fire pit to relax by while enjoying a nice glass of wine, and a fenced-in area for your 4 legged family members. 

The romantic master suite at the top of the house has vaulted beamed ceilings and views of the treetops with a King bed, private bath and shower. Guest bedroom 1 on the lowest level has a Queen bed and half bath, Guest bedroom 2 has bunk beds with the lower bunk being a Queen bed and the upper bunk a Twin.  

This house is truly one-of-a-kind. This is an extraordinary place for someone who is looking for something different. Prepare to be delighted!
