Harris Cottage: Short Walk to Harris Lake and Downtown Highlands | Pet-Friendly

we thoroughly enjoyed this adorable cottage. The walk to town and to Harris Lake was perfect !

We enjoyed our short stay here. Loved walking to town and around the area with our pups. The fenced yard was a bit smaller than I envisioned but glad we had a small turn-out area for our dogs.

The members of your team were absolutely wonderful. They were so friendly and helpful. The home was absolutely wonderful. We were very pleased with the porch in their back and also the fenced dog area in the front. The house was also very well equipped. We really were not in need of anything additionally. Thank you so much for the wonderful service and for the use of your home. We truly enjoyed the month there!

Our accommodations were excellent and perfect for our family.

We enjoyed our long weekend visit to Highlands and especially many walks to the lake with our pups. The home is well equipped, comfortable and cozy and especially enjoyed the quiet back porch. So nice to walk to Main Street Highlands for shopping (10 min walk) or dinner. We had take out from Lakeside Restaurant (5 min walk- highly recommend!!) Also, Just a quick drive to our favorite hiking trails and waterfalls. May be our favorite Highlands retreat and we have been visiting for 25 years. We hope to return!!

It was a "family" vacation for a very atypical "family" and we enjoyed it thoroughly.They were always courteous and always cheered me up after speaking with them.

Perfect location. This is a recently updated cabin that is in a very quiet neighborhood near Harris Lake. We were able to walk to dinner every night, usually within about 10 minutes. The cabin itself has been completely renovated and was very comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace and the beautiful deck overlooking the wooded areas behind the cabin. Thanks to David for coming over immediately (literally in 5 minutes) after we called about a very minor issue. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay- close to downtown. My parents, dog, and myself had a wonderful 4 night stay here in March. Downtown Highlands is walkable or a minute drive in your car. Loved having the fireplace for March, it was a little too chilly to enjoy the back deck, but would have been really nice in warmer months. Cant wait to come back!
