One of the most adorable cottages in downtown Highlands., This property has been completely renovated this from the driveway to the roof and everything in between. This 2 bedroom(Queen beds), 2 bath home features an open concept entertainment area with a brand new custom kitchen situated between a new sun-room on the front and a vaulted living room on the back. A quartz bar wraps around the kitchen making it an ideal place to gather and entertain. The great room features a gas fireplace and french doors that open onto the spacious covered deck. The deck also boasts space for outdoor living and dining. A special surprise: deck views up to Sunset Rock.
You will also find an en-suite master bedroom with access to the back deck and a master bath that features a large soaking tub. This home is conveniently located close to everything that makes downtown Highlands so desirable - Main Street shopping and dining, The Hudson Library, The Highlands Nature Center, Sunset Rock, plus so much more.
*This is an animal friendly (DOGS ONLY) property. Pets must be approved and a pet fee is required.*
[All of the homes managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]

by Nanette WWe enjoyed our long weekend visit to Highlands and especially many walks to the lake with our pups. The home is well equipped, comfortable and cozy and especially enjoyed the quiet back porch. So nice to walk to Main Street Highlands for shopping (10 min walk) or dinner. We had take out from Lakeside Restaurant (5 min walk- highly recommend!!) Also, Just a quick drive to our favorite hiking trails and waterfalls. May be our favorite Highlands retreat and we have been visiting for 25 years. We hope to return!!

by ScottPerfect location. This is a recently updated cabin that is in a very quiet neighborhood near Harris Lake. We were able to walk to dinner every night, usually within about 10 minutes. The cabin itself has been completely renovated and was very comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace and the beautiful deck overlooking the wooded areas behind the cabin. Thanks to David for coming over immediately (literally in 5 minutes) after we called about a very minor issue. Highly recommended.

Loved having the fireplace for March, it was a little too chilly to enjoy the back deck, but would have been really nice in warmer months. Cant wait to come back!
