Situated just two blocks from Main Street in Highlands, NC, “The Inn at Mill Creek” is now taking reservations. This prime location is accessible to all that Highlands has to offer. We are steps away from unique shopping, world class dining, the Highlands Playhouse and the Performing Arts Center. We are located on the upper back side of the newly renovated, "Mill Creek" which will have retail, restaurants & lots of energy!

Inn guests will enjoy new decks and patios and our most prized asset, picturesque Mill Creek creek. Imagine rocking in your Adirondack chair while sipping your favorite beverage overlooking the clear mountain creek. You can enjoy the fresh, cool mountain air, and listen to the sounds of the creek and Mother Nature. Relax with your family and friends.

We have ample parking and a central location so that you can leave your car and walk to any activity you desire in downtown Highlands.

Our goal for Mill Creek Plaza and the Inn is to create an atmosphere, which will insure that when you think of Highlands, you will think of us!!

"Satulah"
This is our only 2 bedroom suite, perfect for families looking for a quick getaway! Each bedroom has a King Bed with designer bedding & 1200 thread count sheets, plush mattresses, seating area, its own flat 46” flat screen TV, and a large, en suite bathroom, complete with your own designer spa products. There will also be a den/living area with a top of the line queen sleeper sofa, a gas log fireplace, a 50” flat screen TV, refrigerator, coffee maker with our own blend of coffee, a microwave and dining table area for your games or eating.

We have 6 distinct Suites so please make sure you are booking the correct one that fits your needs.

We want to make your time away from home not only comfortable, but also memorable.

"Silver Linings"  - A handicap compliant Suite and is also pet friendly.  It has a separate bedroom and living area with one handicap accessible bathroom.  

"Black Bear" - A pet friendly Suite that offers a separate bedroom and living area with a full bathroom.

"Into the Woods" - Identical to Black Bear, however it is not pet friendly.

"Satulah" - A large 2 bedroom Suite, offering 2 separate bedrooms each with their own bath and a living area. **NOTE** You are currently on Satulah's page.

"In the Clouds" - A large one room Suite offering open living/sleeping area with a balcony overlooking Mill Creek

"Whiteside" - A large one room Suite offering open living/sleeping area with a balcony overlooking Mill Creek. 

**Cancelation Policy**. Cancellation: Cancellations made 60 days prior to occupancy will receive a 100% refund minus a $20.00 cancellation fee, cancellations 45 - 60 days prior to occupancy will receive a 75% refund + a $20.00 cancellation fee, cancellations 30 - 45 days before occupancy will receive a 50% refund + $40.00 cancellation fee, cancellations within 30 days of occupancy will receive no refund unless the property is re- rented.   If the Premises are not re-rented on the terms set forth herein, Tenant will not be entitled to a refund of any rent payment made hereunder.


** Please be advised that the *Admin Fee * covers many admin costs associated with the reservation. However, If you wish to avoid much of this fee, do not put in payment information. You may still place your reservation but will need to call the office at 828-526-9999 **
