Heinrich – Mill Creek Cottage: Walk to Downtown | Creekside Retreat w/ Hot Tub

What a great cabin. The location was perfect for our family wedding weekend. The kitchen was very well appointed with more than adequate dinnerware for family entertaining. The entire cabin was very cozy….which was great due to lots and lots of rain. Parking was a challenge as there were only 2 assigned spaces for the 3 couples (3 vehicles) that stayed there. However, the realty company was helpful with finding a third spot for us since adjacent properties were empty. Would love to return to the property in nicer weather!

Absolutely beautiful house in town! 5 minute walk into town and perfect for our family and dogs ! Highly recommend and hoping to stay again soon!!

My sisters and I stayed here for a girls weekend. We loved walking in and having the lights on, and everything looked very clean and welcoming. It rained a lot during our weekend so we did not attempt to walk to town, but I think it would be walkable if you have the right shoes. In between rain showers, we did use the hot tub and it worked very well. Even though there are houses on either side, this property feels very private. We enjoyed photographing nature down by the creek, but we did not get to use the fire pit. The decor is very nice and we enjoyed the screened porch so we could be outside even when it was raining. Everything we needed, we found in the house. Very well stocked. Communication with the rental company was easy, they texted and were very responsive,

Such a special place! Mill Creek Cottage is cozy and comfortable with fireside seating, large bedrooms, luxurious bedding/towels/bath products. The porches, firepit and hot tub spoil the guests as well as the privacy, yet still walking distance to Main Street. Five stars isn’t enough!

When we need a breal from "the city" our favorite place is the Highlands, NC location. Accidentally & Thankfully we found a place called Mill Creek Cottage - Heinrich. Such a beautiful home in a beautiful setting, you can't beleive you're only two blocks from Main Street.Savor the soothing sounds of the creek while thinking the view is from a treehouseand enjoy the relaxation as it grows each day! Wow!!

We loved the coziness and convenience of this cabin, but what ultimately sold our children was the amazing creekside area! They played for hours.

We loved everything about this place. The location was perfect — walkable to town — and the setting was quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

This was a beautiful home, located only blocks from town. I was able to walk to shops several times without driving my car during the daytime. The home was clean and cozy and my family loved it so very much. We hope to stay here again! I highly recommend this rental and the rental agency!

Loved the location, could walk everywhere -into town, local parks, or nature trails/hikes. Plenty of space and room and loved feeling like we were a world away yet so close to everything. Love this house will definitely rent again! Some of the windows would not open some would not lock and some handles were loose prompting us not to try to open to enjoy the weather. Love the new keyless entry!All questions answered timely
