Galax Loft on Main Street with Outdoor Balcony overlooking Downtown

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming condo in Highlands, NC. The location was fantastic, and the decor added a cozy touch. The bed was comfortable, though we found the pillows a bit too thick for our preference. However, the host was very attentive and reached out to check on us. After I mentioned the pillow issue, they promptly had thinner ones delivered before the end of the day. This thoughtful gesture made a significant difference for our last couple of nights. Overall, it was a lovely experience!"

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at the Galax loft. The location is unbeatable and the loft was well curated and cozy. A great vibe and in the center of the city. The hosts were gracious and welcoming. We will be coming back!

My wife and I had a wonderful trip here and we met up with her Jr High school friend and husband. We loved being in the heart of the Highlands and the location was perfect to restaurants and shops. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch and helped us to celebrate our 47th Anniversary. Highlands Rentals was very responsive to our needs even though we didn’t need much as they provided most everything you needed.

The Galax Loft is just as cute as the pictures suggest. Perfect for my husband and I. So close to all the shops and restaurants. Comfortable bed. Cozy environment. Had everything we needed. Very accommodating hosts.

My husband and I wanted to stay right in center of the Highlands. Couldn't have been any better! Sweet place, comfortable bed, great shower. The only improvement I would make is to offer a way scramble an egg in the morning. The unit only offers a refrigerator and a microwave. But maybe it isn't advisable for insurance, city ordinances, etc. Would recommend this place! The balcony overlooking Main Street was a great place to sit in the mornings with coffee or in the evening prior to heading out for a dinner reservation. It has a speak easy feel to it. We enjoyed our visit to Highlands!

We enjoyed our stay at Galax Loft on Main St.! The apartment was charming, loved the decor and we were impressed with the efficient design of such a small space. It is tight but really pretty and extremely clean, which we value greatly. We also appreciate the gift box with toiletries, kitchen essentials, pantry basics and the nice touch of a bottle of wine upon check in. The location is perfect, a minute away from wonderful restaurants and right next door to a lovely boutique where I found several cute pieces. We recommend this apartment if you don't mind tight spaces.

We LOVE this little adorable, beautifully decorated, fabulous location apartment! The place is like something out of a magazine. It even has a little porch to sit and watch the hussle below! Love all the amenities and even a bottle of wine in the frig for us! What a comfortable bed too! Great water pressure for showers! So so clean! Located over a cute shop right in the heart of Highlands! We are coming back again and again. I’ve rented a lot from air bnb and others. This is the BEST rental I’ve ever been in!

Cute loft apartment on Main Street with a very comfortable bed and hot shower with amazing water pressure. Really appreciated the bottle of wine after a long day of traveling. Definitely would stay here again!

We loved this air bnb! It was beautifully decorated, felt very homey, was very clean, and right next to Old Edwards Inn!

The Galax condo is conveniently located on Main Street and within walking distance to many of our favorite shops and restaurants. The unit was very clean and beautifully furnished. The primary suite bed is extremely comfortable and the unit was perfectly stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend, including a chilled bottle of wine upon arrival! We were easily able to come and go throughout the day given the prime location on Main Street and we never had any issues with parking. The unit comes with a designated parking spot behind the building, but we never had to use it. I highly recommend the Galax condo and we look forward to going back.

My husband and I loved our stay at this sweet rental. You can’t beat the in-town location! The loft apartment is right on Main Street (up one flight of stairs), perfect for visiting the many shops and restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed the quiet mornings on the balcony and again in the evenings, just relaxing. Everything we needed for our stay was available and the king size bed was so very comfortable. We can’t wait to visit Highlands and the Galax again!
