The property features a barn for entertaining and is bordered by the National Forest. Although you will feel like you are tucked away in the woods, Camp Hazlehurst is only 10 minutes from the Cashiers crossroads and 5 minutes to Silver Run Falls. Camp Hazlehurst is new to the rental market and is priced at an introductory rate for its first several guests.

There is plenty of room to roam and plenty of room for friends and family at Camp Hazlehurst, making it a great option for a private group retreat. This property offers 5 spacious bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, including 2 primary suites on the main floor with luxurious king beds. The additional bedrooms include a queen and two twins with a shared bathroom on the top floor, as well as a double bunk room for the kids on the basement floor with its own bathroom. The queen bedroom also features a home office set up, with dual monitors and a docking station for your laptop. The property has two living spaces, a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, and a large pantry/mudroom, Outdoors you will find a fabulous porch with gorgeous mountain views, as well as a screened-in dining porch and a propane grill.

Camp Hazlehurst offers two firepit areas--one behind the house and a portable fire pit at the barn. The barn is a unique feature of this property and a fun place to hang out with friends and family. The barn offers a dart board and a variety of outdoor games, including corn hole and ladder ball, as well as picnic tables for outdoor dining. Camp Hazlehurst is located in a rural, secluded setting with a long private driveway that makes for great morning walks.

Although Camp Hazlehurst is a destination in itself, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventures nearby. There are numerous hiking trails and waterfalls in the area, and the property is convenient to Lake Glenville (approximately 25 minutes away) and Lake Jocassee (approximately 35 minutes away) for boating, swimming, and fishing. Cashiers' shopping and restaurants are only 10 minutes away, with Highlands (30 minutes) and Sapphire (15 to 20 minutes) nearby as well.

*This property comes equipped with Starlink internet service. Although internet service is never guaranteed in the mountains, we have found Starlink to be reliable.
*Cell phone service is limited in the area but you can make and receive calls using our Starlink internet if you turn on wi-fi calling on your phone.
*Camp Hazlehurst is located in a rural neighborhood with gravel roads. Although 4WD/AWD is not required, it is recommended in the winter or inclement weather.
*There are two outdoor, outward facing security cameras on the property.
*This property features a whole-house generator for power outages.
*A pack-n-play, toddler mattress, and high chair are available for use during your stay,
*Although cats are not allowed at this property for rentals, if you have a severe cat allergy, please note that the owners' cat occasionally stays at the property.
