Nestled on the edge of the Nantahala National Forest, this three bedroom, two bath home is the quintessential mountain getaway! Completely refreshed in 2023, this beautiful home enjoys a panoramic view of Blue Valley!
Walking through the front door, guests are immediately drawn to an outstanding view on the deck just beyond the dining table, and a gorgeous stack stone fireplace at the other end of this comfortably furnished room. A fully equipped kitchen has all new appliances, and the breakfast area also enjoys deck access.
Across on the other side of the main level is the primary bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower and a nice size (King) bedroom and sitting area that opens out to deck access!
Downstairs are two comfortable (Queen) bedrooms, a full size bathroom, a morning kitchen, and a TV room. A full size brand new washer and dryer are also available in the laundry room. There is a beautiful walkout slate Flagstone Terrace, where guests may also gather to enjoy the view, and a morning cup of coffee. This mountain home is comfortable for 4 to 6 guests, and requires a minimum 3 night stay.
**This is a pet-friendly (DOGS ONLY) property. Pets must be approved and a pet fee is required.*

[All of the homes managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]

Charming mountain cabin with breathtaking views!

If you are looking for the perfect mountain cabin, look no further than Buena Vista View! We were in Highlands for a friend’s wedding at Old Edwards and we were delighted at how close to town this was yet secluded with incredible views and lovely birds chirping each morning. The house is perfectly appointed with all the amenities you’ll need and beautifully renovated bathrooms on each floor. This was a lovely stay and we hope to come back again soon!

Unparalleled views!

My spouse and I spent the Easter holiday in this beautiful mountain home… panoramic stunning views from every room in the house! The owners have paid attention to every detail. The restoration that was recently done on this charming Highlands home is very high-end. Rustic yet sophisticated at the same time. The two renovated bathrooms make you feel like you’re in a spa. And the oversized recently built deck was the perfect place to sip coffee or have a glass of wine as we reflected on the beauty of the surroundings. While we were there, magnificent hawks were putting on a show for us as they glided through the air and danced around while we viewed from the deck. We slept in the primary bedroom on the main floor and the mattress was perfect. In fact, all the furnishings throughout the home were comfortable and added to the ambience and charm. Great decor and art! We also appreciated the private location of this home. We would rent this home again, and again and again.

Peaceful, quiet, oasis

This home must have one of the best views in Highlands. It is quiet and well appointed. Loved dining in overlooking the mountains, coffee in the misty morning air. It is close to Highlands yet feels like you are really away. Beautiful stay and cabin.
