The Highlands Playhouse is the oldest playhouse in Western NC, has 4 live productions all summer long & 1st run movies 5 nights a week all year long, the Performing Arts Center has music and plays too, - both a block away from our apartment. Also 2 blocks away is the newly developed Kelsey and Hutchinson Park where concerts and picnics happen every Saturday night throughout the season as well as arts and craft shows several times a year!
